Philanthropy was founded over 16 years ago by the Martin family in downtown Franklin, TN. In 2024, Shane and Sarah Lorente purchased the business from the Martins. Despite the change in ownership, the heart of Philanthropy remains the same. Our mission is to draw out the beauty within and empower women to express themselves through fashion. We believe true beauty begins within, and human-to-human connection is central to everything we do.
Our prayer chapel stands in the center of the store and serves as a place to quietly spend a moment with God, whether in need or in gratitude. Our favorite moments, however, are when we have the privilege of partnering with our customers in prayer.
We believe in living our faith out loud, both inside and outside the store. We are committed to giving back to many different causes, from supporting a local church that has served meals to the homeless every Thursday night since 1998 to helping local families in need.
